CAAN Academy of Nursing
CAAN Academy of Nursing is a 501-C3 Not-for-Profit, Illinois Department Finance Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) approved institution which has Institutional Accreditation through the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Delivering two (2) Nursing Programs; a 59 -Week Practical Nursing (PN) and a 60-Week LPN-RN Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN).
CAAN’s nursing programs are holistic, which embraces the students’ Mind, Body and Spirit. Our programs are centered upon the student. Infusing them with values and principles related to community health, awareness/education, career building, life-long learning and most importantly the administration of Caring and Compassion within the Health Care Profession. This process is supported and applied by our devoted Faculty. Many of them serve as both tutors and mentors to promote student successful outcomes.
CAAN’s Core Values are respect, recognition, integrity, and caring. These core values are identified as what a person must possess or develop to pursue a profession in Nursing.
From 2012 to date CAAN’s PN NCLEX Pass Rate has either met or exceeded the required 75% Benchmark, while achieving 100% for 4 out of the 8 years. Upon licensure, our graduates also enjoy immediate employment which has achieved the Academy a 100% job placement rate.
In 2018, CAAN launched the LPN-to-RN ADN bridge program. This laddering program reignites LPNs with the awareness of Quality, Safety, and Education in Nursing practice. Therefore, equipping them with the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes required to successfully pass the NCLEX-RN Exam to administer Caring and Compassionate Professional Healthcare.

Transcripts Request
Upon written request from a student, the Registrar Office will mail the student's official transcript to any college, university, agency, or person named. There is a fee per transcript. Students may request the release of their transcripts in two convenient ways:
By mail, print and complete the following pdf and send to:

Request forms are available at the receptionist desk, located at the main campus, Suite 420. print and complete the following pdf and submit form with payment.
If you do not have access to a printer, send a letter with your name, Social Security number, your signature, and the name and address of where your transcript should be sent. Enclose $10 check or money order payable to CAAN Academy of Nursing and mail to above address.
Cost of Official Transcripts
Regular Service
- 5-7 business days (from the date of receipt)
- Transcript fee is $10 per copy
Priority Service
- Allow 48 hours for processing
- Cost is $20 ($15 for priority mail plus $10 transcript fee. For additional copies, add $10 for each copy)
*Transcripts will be processed after all financial obligations are met*
